Wow, Skrooge is getting better and better. Wonderful work!
Have you tought about making it a 1.0 release at some point?

I'm sorry to sound like a wet blanket, but...
It seems that the app needs a lot of work. But the good news is that most of these things should be easy to fix. But the bad thing is that if these easy things have not yet been fixed, what harder problems remain unfixed? Looking at just the first screenshot: -The area that shows the graphs has scrollbars, even though the view is not scrollable - the leftmost area ("context c...") is sized wrong. The text in there is not entirely visible, requiring the use of scrollbars. Hell, you can't even read the title! - the Bookmark-area is also sized wrong. Text is not properly visible, requiring th use of both horizontal and vertical scrollbars. Horizontal scrollbars are especially evil and should be eliminated. - The area to the left of the "graph-area" seems particularly wicked, with huge horizontal scrollbar. Do you really need to show that much info in horizontal format? Are you sure you could not reformat the data? The data should be instantly viewable, without having to resort to those crappy scrollbars. -some of the UI-elements are not aligned. Alignin the UI-elements makes the UI seem less cluttered. Back when I was still involved with KDE I spent ungodly amount of time and energy discussing these things, but it seems nothing has changed :(. With relatively few changes the UI could be made a lot more elegant and smooth, but no. The cluttered UI is still the downfall of KDE and related apps.
It seems that the app needs a
We know only 3 unfixed bugs. You can find them in the KDE bug tracker.
You are right. I did that because this is a workaround for a bug on GraphicView in case of zoom. I will try to remove it.
In Dolphin too, when the size of the widget is too small you are not able to read the title.
This is just an example. Most of the time, you have many data in this area. For me, horizontal format is appropriate.
Don't hesitate to open bug on KDE bugtracker.
"In Dolphin too, when the
"In Dolphin too, when the size of the widget is too small you are not able to read the title." Yes, it should be done everywhere. Too often I see screenshots of apps that simply try to show too much stuff at once, resulting in cluttered UI that requires the user to scroll around to see everything. For some reason GNOME still manages to create apps that are simply a lot more pleasant to the eye. There's no technical reason for that, they just have assumed a different way of thinking. Apps do not have to show everything at once, mor do they have to do everything. Remember, "designer knows he has reached perfection not when there's nothing more to add, but when there's nothing more to take away". Looking at the screenshots it seems that developers were afraid to remove anything, so they added everything, resulting in an app that looks humumgously cluttered and confusing. "Don't hesitate to open bug on KDE bugtracker" I did just that back in the day. As well as discussing things in forums, developer-blogs and mailing-lists. I lost interest when nothing seemed to come from my efforts. Besides: am I to believe that only issues raised in bugtracker will be acted upon? That if, if a developer sees my post here, nothing would be done because "these issues were not mentioned in bugtracker"?

Hi, I am the main developer of Skrooge and you can be sure your remarks are very important for me. Anyway, with this kind of discussion, it is very difficult to know what to do. This is why I prefer to have a bug open for each topic.
I will try to take into account your remarks.
